The Opportunity

The business is looking for a skilled Fitter & Turner to join their dynamic team in Gladstone. As a crucial member, you will contribute significantly to our operational efficiency and overall performance.  This position encompasses the day-to-day operational requirements of the fitting section (including work offsite) and provision of support to other sections to optimize the overall performance of the organisation.

About You

• Trade Qualified Fitter and Turner
• Minimum 3 years practical experience
• Experience with wide range of mining and heavy engineering equipment including pumps, valves and gearboxes
• Perform final inspection & test as per Client and organisational specs – including balance test, hydrostatic test, leak test etc.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
