Aestec Services are currently seeking an Apprentice Plumber to join our highly motivated team for our 2025 apprentice intake.

  • Maintaining portable water systems
  • Installing and replacing electric hot water systems
  • Working with sub-surface ground stormwater infrastructure
  • Installing above-ground suspended pipework
  • Handling industrial small and large bore pipelines
  • Performing electrofusion and butt fusion works
  • Working with DICL, U-PVC, stainless steel, and copper pipelines
  • Maintaining and installing waste stacks and effluent pumping equipment
  • Replacing and installing roof and wall cladding
  • Installing and maintaining water-based fire protection systems
  • Working with Type A and B gas systems
  • Operating machinery, including EWP, skid steers, and trucks

Essential Requirements for a Apprenticeship

  • Physical strength and stamina
  • Practical and manual skills
  • Ability to read, write and participate in risk assessments
  • Ability to participate in studies and on the job training to successfully complete apprenticeship
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail, problem solving skills and able to follow instructions clearly
  • Willingness and desire to learn 

Desirable Qualifications

  • Year 12 completed as of 1st January 2025 (with a minimum of a pass in English and Mathematics)
  • Driver’s licence (a provisional licence is accepted)
  • Industry White Card
  • A genuine interest and passion for a career in the trade of plumbing.
  • Keen interest to undertake a 4 Year Apprenticeship
