Job Description

Laminex is a trusted name across Australia’s building and design industry. We’re seeking an Account Manager to join our sales team on a 12 month maternity leave contract, supporting a strong and well established Mackay & Rockhampton region. This is a work from anywhere opportunity within the region.
 
The Role
This is a hands on end to end Account Manager role, responsible for the full customer portfolio across trade, residential and commercial customers.
You’ll manage a territory currently in a healthy position, with the focus on maintaining performance, strengthening relationships, and identifying growth opportunities.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow relationships across a diverse customer base
  • Maintain sales volumes, margins and market presence
  • Provide a high level of day to day customer service
  • Identify opportunities for growth across the territory
  • Work autonomously while collaborating with internal teams
  • Use Salesforce CRM and digital tools to manage pipeline and activity
 
About You
  • Experience in account management or external sales
  • Background in the building, construction or related industries preferred
  • Confident working independently in a regional territory
  • Strong relationship and communication skills
  • Commercially minded and well organised
  • Comfortable using CRM systems and technology
