About the Role
Our Accountant supports the BioEthanol Finance team in delivering accurate financial services to the business. This role contributes to financial reporting, analysis, budgeting, audit preparation and month-end processes, while also providing back-up support to the accounts receivable function. You will work closely with internal finance, sales, logistics and shared services teams to support effective financial control and decision-making.

Role Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day financial activities including pricing, excise calculations and reporting

  • Assist with month-end processes, journals, balance sheet reconciliations and reporting packs

  • Support the annual budget process and SAP/BW uploads

  • Assist with year-end audit preparation and financial close activities

  • Provide back-up support to accounts receivable, including customer setup, reporting and debt monitoring

About you
We are looking for someone who brings: 

  • A financial or commercial degree, preferably with an accounting or finance major

  • Progress toward CPA, CA or CIMA qualification (preferred)

  • Strong Excel and PC skills with working knowledge of SAP

  • High attention to detail with strong planning and organisational skills

  • A collaborative approach with well-developed communication and relationship-building skills
