Due to continued growth, we are seeking experienced Diesel Fitters, Fixed Plant/CHPP Fitters; Boilermakers, and Auto Electricians to join our Ad hoc Maintenance Crew, supporting multiple mine sites across the Bowen Basin. These roles offer exposure to a variety of mobile and fixed plant equipment and the opportunity to work alongside industry-leading maintenance teams.
 
The Opportunity
These positions are responsible for carrying out preventative maintenance, repairs, shutdowns, and breakdown support across both surface mobile equipment and fixed plant assets, including:
  • Heavy mobile equipment - CAT, Komatsu, Liebherr, Hitachi and ancillary fleets
  • Fixed plant equipment - CHPP, conveyors, crushers, pumps, stackers, reclaimers and associated infrastructure
  • Workshop and field service maintenance activities
  • Shutdown and project works across multiple mine sites
About You
To be successful in these roles, you will have:
  • Australian recognised Trade Qualification as a Diesel Fitter, Boilermaker, or Auto Electrician.
  • Current Driver's Licence.
  • Current Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical.
  • Previous mining experience working on mobile and/or fixed plant equipment.
  • BMA inducted (highly desirable)
  • Experience with OEM equipment such as CAT, Komatsu, Liebherr, Hitachi, and ancillary fleets will be highly regarded.
  • Ability to work across multiple sites and adapt to changing operational requirements.
  • Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
  • A proactive attitude and commitment to safe work practices.
