Administration Assistant - Bookkeeping

Job Description

Central Queensland Hydraulics is a small growing business with a Workshop in Paget selling, repairing and servicing hydraulic components for numerous customers in Mackay and the Bowen Basin.  We also have personnel working on site.

This position is versatile - Flexible hours - Permanent Part Time for the right person.  

The successful candidate will have Bookkeeping/Accounts/Receptionist experience and will have used Zero, Quickbooks/Reckon and Aroflo accounting software.  Also be proficient with Word & Excel and be familiar with HR - WH&S requirements, Mine Site processes and Inductions.

Main Duties include:

Assisting the Office Manager with the following:  

Data Entry of bills and Creditors reconciliation,

Job Costing, Invoicing and Customer communication,

Assist with Timesheet entry and Wages, 

Filing and Archiving,

General Office maintenance as required,

Checking Stock and Inventory. 

HR Role:  When required, Booking site Accommodation, Organizing Inductions & WH&S Requirements. Maintaining Records would also be an advantage.

The successful person will need to have an eye for detail, be conscientious,  flexible, with great communication skills to be able to work with the team in a sometimes busy environment.
