Position Overview

The Administrative Officer is responsible for providing high‑quality administrative support to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the BOREMETRICS Mackay office. This role supports workforce coordination, mobilisation, compliance, accounts support, project administration, and daily office functions. The position requires strong organisation, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced operational environment.


Key Responsibilities

Office Administration

  • Manage day-to-day office operations and general administrative tasks

  • Data entry, filing, document control, and maintaining accurate records

  • Handle incoming calls, emails, client enquiries, and staff support

  • Prepare correspondence, templates, and internal documentation

  • Coordinate office supplies, uniforms, stationery, and equipment orders

Workforce & Mobilisation Support

  • Assist with scheduling, mobilisation, inductions, and site access requirements

  • Maintain employee files, training records, licences, and compliance documentation

  • Prepare onboarding paperwork and ensure accurate completion

  • Support supervisors, field staff, and management with workforce documentation

Project & Shutdown Administration

  • Assist with project preparation including shutdown documentation, packs, registers, and reports

  • Maintain project files, safety documentation, and compliance registers

  • Liaise with operations and field teams to ensure accurate project record‑keeping

Operations Support

  • Support supervisors and the operations team with administrative coordination

  • Assist with WHS documentation, meeting preparation, and record-keeping

  • Maintain internal systems and ensure documents meet company standards
