Administration Officer

Job Description

Carinity Education - Gladstone has an opportunity for an Administration Officer to join the team. The Administration Officer is the first point of contact for school visitors and provides administrative support and record keeping for school operations, responding to requests/needs from staff, management, students, parents and the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and producing newsletters to communicate school events, achievements, and important updates.
  • Support the management of the school's website, ensuring content is up-to-date, informative, and reflective of Carinity’s mission and values.
  • Utilize your creative skills to design visually appealing materials that capture attention and promote our programs and initiatives.

What do I need for the role?

  • Relevant experience in administration.
  • High efficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Publisher, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and Customer Service skills
  • Ability to work sensitively and effectively with youth from diverse backgrounds, demonstrating empathy and understanding.

Desirable: Previous experience in newsletter creation, preferably in an educational or nonprofit setting.
