Initial contract opportunity through to December 2024 with likely long term extension . Full-Time Hours and Immediate Start available allowing you to jump right into this exciting opportunity and make an immediate impact!

Your Role:

As an Administrative Support Officer, you will:

  • Collaborate within the Business Services Team to provide a range of administrative and support services, including asset management, travel, fleet, information management, communications, accommodation, and general administration.
  • Assist and Inform clients on the application of departmental business support policies, standards, procedures, and legislation.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of business administrative systems and procedures to enhance the functionality of the Forestry business unit.
  • Input and Analyse data using departmental information systems.
  • Manage Projects as directed, supporting the improvement of business support practices, systems, and processes.
  • Effectively, setting and meeting realistic goals while prioritising tasks.
  • Participate and Collaborate as part of a team, undertaking additional duties to contribute to the delivery of business services.

Key selection criteria:

  • Experience in a similar role providing support services in areas such as facilities, fleet, assets, information technology, communications, and accommodation is desirable.
  • Competent Computer Skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic systems like SharePoint and SAP, or the ability to rapidly acquire these skills.
  • Effective Communication, adjusting your message to resonate with different stakeholders.
  • Strong Organisational Skills, with the ability to plan, meet deadlines, and prioritise workloads while working autonomously and adapting to a changing team environment.
