Administration Officer
- Permanent Full Time
- Monday to Friday, 72.5 hours per fortnight, 9 day fortnight
- $76,808 - $82,140 per annum (LGIA Stream A Level 2) + Superannuation

Your new role
An exciting opportunity has become available to support the Legal and Governance team through the provision of administrative tasks including filing, data entry, word processing, telephone answering and other required tasks. You will assist with the maintenance of Council’s registers (legislative, financial and administrative), and processing of delegations and authorisations.
Your strong customer service skills will enable you to act as a first point of contact for policy, legal and governance enquires to all internal and external customers and your positive and enthusiastic attitude will ensure you assist others wherever possible to achieve team/Council goals.
This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).
What we are looking for
- Administration experience with an interest and general understanding of how to read legislation.
- Team player with a positive and friendly attitude.
- Ability to utilise judgement and initiative within your role, acting with confidentiality at all times.
- A high level attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft office suite including excel.
