About the role
Are your an experienced administrator with a passion for leading and supporting others?
As our Administration Team Leader, you’ll guide and empower a team of Business Support Officers, helping to prioritise tasks, maintain high-quality standards, and foster continuous growth through coaching and support. You'll also provide high-level business support, with flexibility to adapt based on organisational needs. If you're ready to lead by example and make a real impact, we’d love to hear from you.
The successful candidate will:

Lead and support Business Support Officers, ensuring clear task allocation and performance development.

Coordinate administrative support across directorates and provide high-level support when needed.

Oversee travel arrangements, internal travel processes, and standing travel agreements.

Manage facilities and site-based contracts, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Uphold quality, compliance, and document control standards (e.g., ISO 9001).

Establish internal meeting governance protocols and office procedures.
-
Champion business systems and support accurate data entry.
-
Provide coverage during staff leave and assist the wider Business Services team.

Contribute to continuous improvement and foster a positive team culture.

Conduct performance reviews, coaching, and staff development initiatives.

Maintain secure, confidential records in line with organisational standards.
Key selection criteria
-
Tertiary qualifications in Administration or a related professional field (highly regarded).

Minimum four-years’ experience in a similar role.

Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

Well-developed organisational and problem-solving skills, specifically the ability to work collaboratively with others to effectively problem-solve.

Demonstrated ability to plan, meet deadlines, and prioritise complex workloads while working autonomously, and to be flexible in a changing teamwork environment.

A high level of attention to detail and time management skills.

Demonstrated experience in the application of the Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to become proficient in other software programs as required.
