Aged Care Dietitian

Food Solutions Diet Consultants is a national provider of Dietetic and Speech Pathology services to aged care facilities and community clients across Australia. Established in 2003, we are known for delivering high-quality, evidence-based care with a focus on improving the lives of older Australians.

We are currently seeking expressions of interest from an enthusiastic and compassionate Accredited Practising Dietitian to join our growing team in Rockhampton on a part-time basis, with the potential to increase hours. You’ll be supported by our experienced Dietetics Manager and work closely with a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team.

This role offers the flexibility to choose your preferred working days and hours—ideal for someone looking to balance professional growth with personal commitments.

What we’re looking for:

• Innovative, proactive, and passionate about aged care

• Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills

• Organised and confident managing a caseload independently

• Committed to delivering high standards of care

Essential Criteria:

• Minimum 2 years of experience (New graduates are welcome to apply – support and supervision provided)

• Previous experience in aged care or foodservices highly regarded

• Dietitians Australia membership

• Valid police check

• Up-to-date Flu and COVID-19 vaccinations

• Current driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle

• Commitment to ongoing professional development

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, timely Dietetic services to aged care clients

• Liaise with nursing, care, and food services staff to optimise resident care

• Conduct nutritional assessments and develop care plans

• Deliver staff education and training

• Provide clear and professional reporting to the Dietetics Manager

• Collaborate with a national team of like-minded clinicians
