The role
As an Aged Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting older clients to maintain their independence, wellbeing and quality of life. You will provide compassionate, practical and respectful care tailored to each client's individual needs and preferences.
This is an on-site role, with client matching to ensure your skills and experience align with the client's support requirements.
Shifts available:
Monday to Friday
Community access support
Key responsibilities
- Assist with transport, social participation, and community access
- Work in collaboration with our compliance team
- Working with individual participants to maintain personal care and cleanliness of the house
- Planning and attending activities or appointments
- Completing daily case notes, admin tasks and incident reports
What we're looking for
- Certificate III in Aged Care/Individual Support Ageing or currently working towards)
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands
- Commitment to upholding the rights, dignity and independence of people
- Suitable availability to work on a rotating flexible roster(may include a combination of day, afternoon, sleepovers and weekend shifts)
