About the role
We have an opportunity for an Alumina Producer - Process to join our Clarification team. You will be responsible for the safe control, operation and maintenance of plant and equipment within the section. Reporting directly to the Supervisor – Clarification you will contribute to our Safe, Stable and Sustainable vision by:
- Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with site health, safety, environmental and community policies, systems and procedures
- Diagnosing, troubleshooting and recommending improvements to equipment, work processes, procedures and practices within the team
- Performing routine equipment changes and isolations
- Completing housekeeping functions
About you
To be successfully considered for this role, you should have:
- Demonstrated commitment to your safety and the safety of your team
- A positive attitude and motivation to achieve individual and team goals
- Previous work experience on an industrial site would be advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise and multi-task as required
- The ability to communicate effectively with peers, leaders and various contracting groups
