  • Type: Full-time, temporary QLD Government Contract
  • ASAP Start for an initial 3-month contract with highly likely rolling contract extensions

About the Role

As a Contract Administrator/Superintendent Representative, you will provide operational contract supervisory services across major construction projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting regular site inspections and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Coordinating site meetings and maintaining accurate records.
  • Issuing variation orders, assessing contractual claims, and processing contractor requests.
  • Supporting dispute resolution processes and providing high-level advice to project leaders.
  • Implementing contract administration policies and post-contract performance evaluations.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and quality assurance procedures.
  • Communicating effectively with clients and project teams on cost, time, and quality matters.

 

What We're Looking For

  • Strong knowledge of construction contract administration (traditional and non-traditional contracts)
  • Government experience is highly desirable.
  • Ability to interpret and apply contractual obligations honestly and fairly.
  • Experience in supervising major projects and managing variations and claims (highly desirable)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Commitment to workplace health and safety and equity principles.
