Assistant Manager

MFS Distributors are seeking an energetic and results driven person to manage the day to day operations of our business.

 At MFS Distributors we sell all the fun stuff, Chips, Chocolates, Confectionary, drinks and groceries, a vast range of FMCG to an existing customer base including national customers including Foodworks, IGA’s, SPAR, petrol and convenience, pubs, clubs, caravan parks, schools and corner stores.

We service an area with our own fleet from Airlie Beach, Mackay and down to Rockhampton and the western mining towns, Emerald, Middlemount, Dysart, Clermont and Moranbah.

You will manage all aspects of our business, staffing, rosters, purchasing stock, stock control, managing our vehicles and dealing with customers. This is a very hands on roll, 

Salary + Super + Company vehicle + phone + iPad provided. 

Skills and Experience:

  • Manage the day to day operations of our warehouse and staff
  • Procurement
  • Sales Management, ability to motivate and develop our Sales team
  • Team building and leadership
  • Manage Staff and Rosters
  • Strong sales/business development acumen with the drive to grow our territory 
  • Customer focused, solutions orientated and possessing a positive can do attitude
  • A current Drivers Licence and solid driving record
