About the role:
Carinity Education – Rockhampton have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Attendance and Inclusion Support Worker (AISW) to join the team.  This role promotes and supports the Youth Worker team in the area of attendance and inclusion of diverse student needs.

The AISW supports formal processes for student attendance and enrolment. The AISW is responsible for Individual Learning Plan monitoring and working with the Deputy Principal and Curriculum and Inclusion Coordinator on NCCD requirements. They also liaise with stakeholders to enhance student outcomes and model exemplary support practices.

What do I need for the role?

  • Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Counselling, Psychology, or Social Work
  • Demonstrated experience in the development, implementation and monitoring of student attendance, census and diagnostic testing
  • Experience in leading and supervising a team of Youth Workers working within a challenging environment and applying effective time management skills
  • Possession of a valid Driver’s Licence and/or Bus Licence and Suitability for Working with Children (Blue Card)
  • TCI training is advantageous for this role
