Auto Electrician

Joyce Mechanical Services is looking for a qualified Auto Electrician to join our Mackay workshop on a 7:7 or 5:2 residential roster. This dayshift-only role involves working on heavy earthmoving equipment in a purpose-built facility, with the benefit of being home every night.

You’ll be part of a strong, family-oriented team that takes pride in delivering high-quality service to the mining and civil sectors.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Electrical rebuild work on heavy earthmoving machines

• Creating/repairing custom harnesses

• Fault finding and diagnostics

• Rewiring and cabin overhauls

• Air conditioning repairs (if licensed)

• Accessory / auxiliary system fit-outs

What We’re Looking For

• Trade-qualified Auto Electrician

• 1–2 years post-trade experience (ideal)

• Previous experience with heavy earthmoving equipment

• Air Conditioning Licence (highly regarded)

• Commitment to quality and safety
