We have an exciting opportunity for a Parts Interpreter to join the busy and successful team! This is a rare opportunity to join an experienced and supportive team that provides exceptional service to our customers, within a multi-brand dealership. You will receive ongoing training and support to take your career to the next level.

 Responsibilities will include:

  • Working predominantly with our trade customer mechanics and panel beaters.
  • Assisting in the Parts Department, providing parts to both internal and external customers.
  • Promotion and retail sales of various products and/or services to suit customer needs.
  • Handling of parts sales and enquiries via phone, email and in-person service. 
  • Efficiently processing customer orders and providing an exceptional customer experience to both internal and external customers. 
  • Placement and management of daily orders.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with customers and fellow staff.
  • Working the back counter processing incoming orders and contributing to accurate inventory management.
  • Identifying and interpreting various parts and components accurately. 
  • Invoice preparation, quoting and receipting of parts.
  • Preparing quotes for trade and panel parts.
  • Organising the dispatch of orders.
  • Building and maintaining customer loyalty and support.
  • Assisting with inventory maintenance and warehouse duties.
  • Working collaboratively with other team members.

 

Our ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Qualification as an Automotive Parts Interpreter will be highly regarded but is not essential.
  • Experience as an Automotive Parts Interpreter is desirable. 
  • Prior experience with ERA/Pentana will be highly advantageous, but not necessary. 
  • Mechanical or Auto Body knowledge and passion are essential.
  • Basic computer competency.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to provide great customer service.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Hold a current Driver’s Licence.
