Role Location

This exciting role and opportunity exists at Australia’s newest processing plant located in Murray Bridge SA 5253.

 

About the Role

This role is responsible for ensuring all boning/ slicing and packing  processes performed in the Beef Boning Room department are in accordance with the quality management system, while production targets are maintained. Supervise production employees and coordinates their task allocation in accordance with their knowledge and abilities ensuring that they are following work safe and quality procedures.

 

General Duties

  • Learn the new MES systems for the new processing site
  • Train & implement new MES system and have the ability to train others within the team.
  • Assist in the development of the MSA/ CSB system to ensure a smooth transition into the new facility.

 

Daily Responsibilities

  • Ensure training is delivered as required and completed as per schedules and skills matrix is maintained
  • Complete KRONOS and I LEADER records daily
  • Ensure daily yield targets are met and report any variances
  • Manage the employees absences in conjunction with HR and provide warnings when required
  • Provides daily production reports to manager
  • Complete weekly progress reports
  • Ensure disciplinary action is taken for any MHA or process control non-conformances
  • Ensure production orders are competed and product is produced as per customer specification
  • Implement corrective action when necessary
  • Participate in external audits & reviews as directed
