Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Coordinator / Supervisor to join our team. You will be the first point of contact for Nepean Belting, providing outstanding customer experience and supporting day-to-day operations. Mackay bases role. 

 

Splice Coordination

  • Oversee and coordinate all tasks and jobs associated with belt splices, from workshop preparation through to site completion.

  • Schedule and allocate personnel, equipment, and materials required for splicing jobs.

  • Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company quality standards both in the workshop and on-site.

  • Liaise with internal teams and customers to plan, track, and report on splice activities.

  • Manage after-hours or urgent splice requests as required.

  • Maintain accurate records of all splice jobs, including quotations, work orders, and documentation in company systems.

People Management
  • Participate with management in performance development planning, career development, and succession planning for your team.

  • Support annual performance reviews and provide coaching and guidance.

  • Participate in employee recruitment, training, and development to ensure effective performance.

  • Manage poor performance formally: identify issues, define expectations, provide support and opportunities for improvement, and ensure timely performance reviews.

Site Services – External
  • Represent Nepean Belting as the primary point of contact with customers for belting service activities in your designated area.

  • Follow up with customers regularly regarding quoted opportunities and potential new business.

  • Provide assistance and explanations when difficulties arise; ensure complaints are resolved satisfactorily for both the customer and the company.

  • Schedule and organise personnel, equipment, and materials required for works in your area.

  • Manage after-hours customer support as required.

  • Seek new opportunities to grow the service team with support from management.

  • Support belt cleaner, new/refurbishment belt, and aftermarket businesses through identified opportunities for sales and supply agreements.

Site Services – Internal
  • Prepare and manage customer quotations using Nepean Belting’s Sales Systems and Processes.

  • Manage and process received orders via the PRONTO ERP system, including financial budgets, purchase processing, and project documentation.

  • Participate in all internal meetings and report on activities in your designated area.

  • Develop and maintain a high level of knowledge of site service activities.

  • Ensure all activities comply with legal, ethical, and company standards.
