Job Description

We are seeking experienced Welders and Boilermakers for our client, a leading and progressive OEM that specialises in bucket manufacturing, fabrication, and heavy equipment repairs in Mackay, Queensland. 

About the role:  
Due to exponential growth, our client has opportunities for Boilermakers to join the team. These are ongoing contract positions, based in Mackay.  

Key Requirements:  
  • Full Australian work rights 
  • Trade qualified (Cert III in Engineering – Boilermaker) 
  • Post trade experience in heavy fabrication and heavy repair  
  • Experience in FCAW 
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical which includes drug and alcohol testing  
  • Ability to pass a weld test  
  • Keen eye for detail, a strong commitment to quality and pride in your work 
  • Working at heights, forklift, overhead gantry, and dogging tickets are highly regarded
