About the business

Tinman's Enterprises Pty Ltd is a family owned and operated business working from Sarina. We work in the Mining area around the Mackay region to do Fabrication, Repairs, Mine Site Work & Shift Coverage and General Welding.

We currently have positions available seeking experienced, motivated and reliable Boilermakers to join our team. 

Predominantly site based - Across various mine sites in the QLD Bowen Basin and up to Cloncurry.

About the Role

• Immediate Start
• Full time positions for the right people
• Work Vehicle Provided for site position
• Floating Position which can lead to rostered work.
• Steel, Stainless Steel & Aluminum Fabrication and Welding 
• Fabrication and Repairs on various types of Machinery including Farming, Mining and Construction
• Local site work with varying shifts (day & night) will be required and Workshop.

The successful applicant MUST 

• Be trade qualified Boilermaker with at least 2+ years post trade experience in similar position
• Have Heavy and Light Fabrication Experience. Being able to Weld Aluminum favourable 
• Experience on working on Heavy Machinery
• Pass in house weld test
• Ability to accurately read and interpret workshop drawings.
• Attention to detail & quality control, maintaining high production & quality standards
• Be able to work unsupervised with the ability to follow directions provided by supervisors.

Documents Required

• Trade Certificates
• Current Coal Board Medical or able to obtain
• Driver's License (Front & Back)
• Current Standard 11 or able to obtain
• Police Check or able to obtain

The following competencies are deemed advantageous but not necessary

• Fitting experience
• Current Working at Heights
• Current Confined Space
• High Risk Ticket for EWP, Forklift, OH Crane
