Permanent Boilermaker – Marian Mill
About the role/Job Summary:
This is a Permanent Full Time Position reporting to the Leading Hand Boilermaker. You will be a key member of the Marian Maintenance Team, helping to meet targets of throughput, safety, quality and plant utilisation in a cost-effective manner, all in accordance with planned production performance.
As a minimum you will hold and / or maintain the following Qualifications and Licenses:
- Engineering Trade Qualification (Fabrication)
- Experience in heavy industry repair and maintenance is desirable although not essential
- Welding qualification / experience for pressure vessels and steam pipe is desirable although not essential
- An excellent focus on safety and a strong commitment to the health and wellbeing of all work colleagues
- Valid Australian driver’s licence
You will be a person that is comfortable with working in a continuous improvement environment, and you will:
- be driven by systems, processes and discipline;
- be team-oriented;
- have a positive attitude;
- have effective communication skills; and
- be focused on internal customer service.
