2 x Boilermaker Positions

About the business

Tinman's Enterprises Pty Ltd is a family owned and operated business working from Sarina. We work in the Mining area around the Mackay region to do Fabrication, Repairs, Mine Site Work & Shift Coverage and General Welding.

We currently have positions available seeking experienced, motivated and reliable Boilermakers to join our team. 

About the Roles

Floating Site Boilermaker

Boilermaker wanted for site work. Would be required to float from site to site as required.

We are looking for a self motivated person that takes pride in their work and has to have a very strong work ethic. Experience in Heavy Fabrication and Repairs . Mine Site Experience advantageous.

 

Fly in / Fly out Boilermaker

2 weeks on 2 weeks off. Overtime will be offered if needed. Flights will be paid from Brisbane. All other areas will be up for discussion.

Both Positions a vehicle will be provided for work use.

  • Floating Field Maintenance Positions and also Rostered 5 on and 2 off position available.

  • Steel, Stainless Steel & Aluminum Fabrication and Welding 

  • Fabrication and Repairs on various types of Machinery including Farming, Mining and Construction

  • Local site work with varying shifts (day & night) will be required and Workshop.

The successful applicants MUST 

  • Be trade qualified Boilermaker

  • Have Heavy and Light Fabrication Experience. Being able to Weld Aluminum favourable 

  • Experience on working on Heavy Machinery

  • Pass in house weld test

  • Ability to accurately read and interpret workshop drawings.

  • Attention to detail & quality control, maintaining high production & quality standards

  • Be able to work unsupervised with the ability to follow directions provided by supervisors.

Documents Required

  • Trade Certificates or on their way to obtain.

  • Current Coal Board Medical or able to obtain

  • Driver's License (Front & Back)

  • Current Standard 11 or able to obtain

  • Police Check or able to obtain

The following competencies are deemed advantageous but not necessary

  • Fitting experience

  • Current Working at Heights

  • Current Confined Space

  • High Risk Ticket for EWP, Forklift, OH Crane
