BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION TRAINEE

NRG Gladstone Operating Services (NRGGOS) is currently seeking to appoint a Business Administration Trainee to join the Human Resources team working a 36.25-hour week on a 9-day fortnight basis.

The successful applicant will be employed on a 12-month contract and will complete a Certificate III in Business.

This position is a key role within the organisation and is the first point of contact for our customers.

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

·         Reception Duties

·         Customer service – phone and email enquiries

·         Administer visitor inductions & site access cards

·         Collection & distribution of mail

·         Filing, data entry and maintain HR Information Systems

·         Ensuring all training rooms are presentable

·         Use of Microsoft Office for letters, spreadsheets and presentations

·         Booking of meeting rooms

·         Providing administration support to the HR Team

The successful applicant will possess:

·         Successful completion of Year 12 (preferred but not essential)

·         Excellent literacy, language and numerical skills

·         Experience using Outlook, MSWord, Excel and PowerPoint

·         Excellent attitude and desire to learn new systems

·         Excellent Customer Service Skills

·         Ability to work as part of a busy team

Note: To be eligible, applicants cannot hold any Certificate III, or higher qualification, from the Business Services training package.

Pre-Employment Requirements:

·         Successful completion of a drug and alcohol test and pre-employment medical
