Job Description

Work.

As the Business Analyst – Energy, you will provide data insights and analytics. As energy contracting, forecasting and budgeting become increasingly complex, this role manages energy spend, interrogation of data and delivery of accurate, insightful reporting.

Within the Business Analyst – Energy role, you will support these objectives through:

  • Operational energy monitoring and optimisation
  • Invoice validation and energy retailer management
  • Provision of tailored financial reports and accruals
  • Budgeting and forecasting.

 

Please note that due to the nature of this role, there may be some occasional ad-hoc travel. This role can be based in any Sunwater Office (subject to space) – please see a list of office locations at Sunwater Offices – Sunwater.

 

There isn’t a typical background for successful people in this role however consistently our team have strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills. You will have tertiary qualifications in accounting, commerce, economics, law, finance or a related discipline with the ability to confidently engage and consult with internal and external stakeholders.

You will also bring:

  • Experience in a Business Analyst or related role
  • Experience providing expertise and guidance implementing performance tools.
  • Advanced Excel skills in modelling, reporting and analysis
