With a strong heritage and a forward-looking approach, we are expanding our Sales Team and are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth, strategic partnerships and nurture our long-standing relationships within the Queensland Mining | Sugar | Industrial sectors
Key Responsibilities

Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities within the Mining | Sugar | Industrial sectors

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients

Analyze market trends, pricing, and competitor activity to make informed strategic decisions

Assist with developing growth strategies aligned with sales budgets and operational goals

Collaborate with internal departments including production and logistics to deliver customer-centric service

Participate in contract negotiations and assist in the closing of deals that support long-term business objectives

Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows
Requirements
-
Proven track record in business development or sales

Minimum 1-2 years of business development or sales experience required

An understanding of Mining | Sugar | Industrial sectors preferred but not essential

Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset and the ability to work independently

Willingness to travel as required
