Gladstone Region Aboriginal and Islander Community Controlled Health Service Limited (“GRAICCHS”) trading as Nhulundu Health Service is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service operating in Gladstone and the greater Central Queensland Region delivering a comprehensive range of primary health care, aged care and community support service functions.  GRAICCHS mission is for all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community members, and the community as a whole, to have the right to access equitable and high-quality health care, regardless of their culture, ethnicity or location


Working within the Business Services Division, as a Business Services Officer you will be responsible for the delivery of efficient and effective corporate and administrative support services to enable GRAICCHS to meet its business objectives.

Your general responsibilities for this role, include but are not limited to:

  • Providing HR administration support through maintaining staff records on the HR system (ELMO) and liaising with management and staff in relation to how GRAICCHS' requires them to utilise various ELMO functions;
  • Providing office and property management support through monitoring and organising all stationery and office necessities, as well as organising corporate property maintenance, motor vehicle procurement, cleaning and security arrangements;
  • Providing finance and payroll support through assisting with accounts payable processes (purchases and invoices); banking processes (cheques, cash, petty cash) and payroll processes (staff movements, leave forms and timesheets);
  • Providing general support as required for management and other administration staff, i.e. meetings, functions, accommodation, travel etc.

To be successful in this role, we are looking for an individual which obtains the following:

  • A Qualification in Business Administration or equivalent (desired but not required); 
  • At least 3 years in office services/admin delivery in a comparable not for profit, government or private sector organisation (desired but not required); 
  • Current C Class Drivers License (QLD); 
  • Current Criminal History Check and current First Aid and CPR Certificate;
  • Paid working with children card (Blue Card), or willing to obtain; 
  • Competence in utilising business technology and desktop applications; internet, word, spreadsheet, and database packages;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to take direction, determine priorities and manage workloads in order to meet agreed timelines and objectives.
