Business Support Officer

Job Description

Regional Quarries are currently seeking an experienced Business Support Officer to join our growing team in Gracemere QLD.

As the Business Support Officer, you will be responsible for assisting the Business Development team with the preparation of customer quotations, project tenders and submissions. 

You will be responsible for providing administrative and sales support to the quarry and concrete business units. Ultimately you will create and maintain good relationships with key site personnel and customers to ensure products and services are high quality and delivered on time.

Key responsibilities:

  • Adhere to company Accounts Receivable procedures
  • Customer onboarding
  • Compare and evaluate customer quotation requests
  • Track current quotations
  • Maintain quotation / tender records
  • Entry of quotation order details (e.g. customer, quantities, prices) into internal databases
  • Clear communication with Business Development team
  • Database Housekeeping activities
  • Follow-up on outstanding orders
  • Handle customer enquires
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders of customer service
  • Develop procedures that support site requirements
  • Support initiative to improve systems
  • Provide administrative support to the Queensland Office Manager when requested

Knowledge and experience required:

  • Proven work experience within a sales team environment
  • Hands-on experience with Customer database systems
  • Highly organised and self-motivated
  • Solid analytical skills
  • Strong focus on the best interests of the business
  • Ability to manage risk and priorities
  • Strong communication and feedback skill to other business units
