These positions are Full Time with the client at commencement.

Protech are seeking experienced Mining Operators to join our client in the Bowen Basin - Byerwen Mine. 

Located in Queensland’s resource-rich Bowen Basin, producing hard - coking coal.

ABOUT THE ROLE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safe operation of heavy mobile plant equipment at Byerwen Mine. Collaborating closely with your team and wider site, you will deliver to achieve safe, high-quality results. These roles are working on a rotating 7-day on, 7-day off roster, alternating between day and night shifts (12.5-hour shifts)

 

COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • A minimum of 12 months of experience in open-cut production mining operating relevant machinery

  • Current Drivers Licence

  • Training Transcript signed by SSE or SSE delegate

  • Standard 11 Certificate (statement of attainment)

  • Ability to provide current Health Assessment and pass a Pre-Employment Medical & undergo Drug and Alcohol testing prior to commencement

  • Proof of Australian working rights

  • National Police Check

  • Two Contactable references
