As a Cadet Building Surveyor, you will work alongside experienced Building Surveyors to assist in the assessment of building applications, site inspections, and regulatory compliance under Queensland’s legislative framework. Key Responsibilities

Support the assessment of building plans and documentation against the National Construction Code and relevant Queensland legislation.

Participate in site inspections and compliance audits under supervision.

Assist with maintaining accurate records and reporting in line with company procedures.

Engage professionally with clients, consultants, and contractors in a courteous and respectful manner.

Demonstrate a proactive commitment to learning and continuous improvement in building certification practices.

Qualifications & Skills

Currently studying or intending to study a qualification related to Building Surveying

Basic understanding of the National Construction Code and building approval process (preferred but not essential)

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Demonstrated interest in both the technical and regulatory aspects of the construction industry

Queensland driver's licence (or ability to obtain one)
