An exciting opportunity has become available at CQUniversity’s Gladstone Campus. We are seeking a dynamic Campus Administration Assistant who thrives on delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth campus operations.

In this role, you will apply your outstanding customer service and administrative abilities, supporting the seamless day-to-day operations of our vibrant campus. You will serve as a point of contact for clients and stakeholders, maintaining a professional, efficient, and confidential approach. Your role will involve delivering high-level customer service with a friendly demeanour, working closely with Facilities Management Directorate regarding building maintenance and fleet vehicle bookings, supporting management in the drafting of documents, reports, meeting minutes and newsletters, managing financial transactions, and handling a variety of general administrative tasks.

As the Campus Administration Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the seamless functioning of our campus, contributing to the positive experience of everyone who visits or works here.

Position Requirements

  • Experience in providing a high level of professional customer service to clients face-to-face.
  • Demonstrated ability to work and resolve problems with minimal supervision and guidance.
  • Proficient in the operation of computers and knowledge of business support software.
  • Demonstrated ability to undertake general office administration duties, and effectively participate as a member of a professional team.
  • Ability to communicate and liaise with people at all levels and from various backgrounds, including dealing with difficult people. 
  • Completion of an associate diploma or certificate level qualification (desirable).
