Casual Registered Nurse - Aged Care

Omega Medical are hiring Registered Nurses to work in Aged Care facilities on a casual basis.

About us:

Omega Medical specializes in assisting employers to find the medical and healthcare talent required for temporary, locum, or permanent positions.

We take a hands-on approach when working with our nurses, assisting with the onboarding process and offering continuous communication throughout your contracts.

Your duties:

• Work as part of a collaborative team looking after residents and providing high quality Nursing care
• Coordinate completion of care plans, assessments, and clinical documentation
• Liaise with residents, families, and health care professionals.
• Promote a safe working environment for all residents and staff. Work within your scope of practice whilst referring to the professional code on conduct.
• Monitor the quality of resident files, progress notes and observation charts.
• Act as In Charge RN on shift, and report regularly to management.

Requirements:

• Current AHPRA Registration
• Masters/Bachelor of Nursing
• At least 6+ months experience as an RN and an understanding of Residential Aged Care.
• Must be located in Gladstone
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised.
