Job Description

Carinity Education – Shalom has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Casual Youth Worker – Learning Support (YW-LS) to join the team. The Youth Worker – Learning Support will assist students in completing their studies as well as with their social emotional development.

What do I need for the role?

  • Experience in working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students in a support capacity.
  • LR licence to drive a 25-seater bus (highly desirable)
  • Certificate III in Education Support or Youth Work.
  • Hold a current and open drivers’ licence.
  • Willingness to drive a mini-bus.

Location: Carinity Education – Shalom
Carinity Education - Shalom is recognised for providing culturally appropriate education for predominantly Indigenous students in Prep to Year 12 from the Townsville area.  Carinity will continue to work with and support this valuable service.
