Centre Director | NEW SERVICE

Inspire, support and manage our team of Educators, and run the day-to-day operations of our amazing, brand new and beautiful childcare centre, Imagine Childcare and Kindergarten Andergrove . 

Our brand-new, purpose-built centre is awaiting the right Director to lead and inspire our team of Educators and make it their own! This is a rare opportunity for a strong leader to join our team.

In your new role you will:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the centre in line with legislative requirements, and company policies and procedures.

• Provide leadership, mentoring and guidance to all staff.

• Ensure that high-quality early learning programs are delivered by our passionate team of Educators.

• Manage staffing rosters efficiently.

• Effectively manage the financial requirements of the centre in line with budget guidelines.

• Ensure that high-quality standards for centre presentation and work practices are practiced consistently.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with children, families, Educators, the local business community, and all other stakeholders.

• Ensure you are actively attracting, converting and retaining families by effectively managing and overseeing tours, enrolments and orientation in conjunction with our Enrolments Team

About you

• A Diploma in Children's Services or Early Childhood Degree as approved by ACECQA.

• Experience as a Centre Director in an early childhood setting.

• Current blue card, approved first aid, CPR, anaphylaxis and asthma qualifications.. 

• Extensive understanding of the Victorian Early Years Learning Development Framework (VEYLDF), National Quality Standards (NQS), and Quality Improvement Plan (QIP).

• Excellent understanding of CCS and QikKids.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to lead and mentor a team of qualified and committed early childhood professionals.

• Willingness to undertake and coordinate ongoing professional development training for Educators.

• The ability to incorporate critical thinking and reflective practice into your day-to-day practice.
