What’s the role?

We’re seeking experienced and passionate Chefs to join our regional Queensland teams on a 2:1 FIFO roster. Fly from Townsville or Rockhampton and work across busy kitchen operations preparing high-volume, nutritious meals for mining village residents.

  • Prepare and deliver meals across breakfast, crib, and dinner services

  • Maintain food safety standards and HACCP compliance

  • Work collaboratively in a high-performing kitchen team

  • Support quality and consistency across services

Who are we looking for?

  • Certificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery

  • Experience in bulk catering or high-volume kitchens

  • FIFO or remote site experience desirable, but not essential

  • Sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices

  • Flexible team player with strong communication skills

  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical (including drug & alcohol testing)

  • Australian Citizenship, Full Australian working rights or eligible for visa sponsorship

 

Working on-site means 11-hour days on a 2:1 roster (two weeks on, one week off).
