About the role

After The Bell Aus Outside School Hours Care at Cawarral State School is looking for two experienced Qualified Co-ordinator Educators to join and lead our supportive and compassionate team at our OSHC childcare environment. Join the team and use your Diploma or study qualifications to help nurture and lead a rewarding program for school-aged children!

Salary:

Shared Part-time role in-school term period with a minimum of 12 hours per week (Monday to Friday) with an hourly rate range of up to $35 per hour (depending on experience and qualification status) and superannuation additional to the hourly rate.

Casual role status in-school holiday periods with a minimum of 20+ hours per week (Monday to Friday) with an hourly rate ranging from $40+ per hour (depending on experience and qualification status) and superannuation in addition to the hourly rate.

**Must be able to work in the Before School Care (7.00am till 9am), After School Care (2.30pm till 6pm) & Vacation Care program Monday to Friday (split shift allowance and with weekly administration time)

Travel daily allowance in school term time (pending kilometer range from residence to work)

The duties, experience, and responsibilities include:

  • Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming, and nurturing environment
  • Ability and knowledge on how to complete and log children's learning reflection cycle.
  • Collaborate with a team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families
  • Develop, implement, deliver, and evaluate the daily/ weekly care routines and programs for individual children and groups.
  • Comply with and maintain company policies and procedures, National Framework and Education and Care Laws and Regulations.
  • Has experience in caring for children with additional needs, behavioral, trauma, or willing to work in a caring environment where this caring support is or may be present.

Skills required for the role

  • Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or Industry approved qualification (Allied Health, Sport & Recreational, Teaching qualification)
  • Current approved First Aid/CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma training (HLTAID012) or willing to obtain before commencement.
  • Working with Children Check (employee status 'P')
  • Child Safe Certificate or willing to obtain before commencement.
