Child Care Educator x 3 

  • Fixed Term Full Time (Until January 2026), Monday to Friday, 76 hours per fortnight /9 day fortnight
  • Fixed Term Part Time (Until April 2025), Monday to Friday, 34 hours / week
  • Fixed Term Part time (Until January 2026), Monday to Friday, 25 hours / week (11.30am – 4.30pm)
  • Pro Rata amount of $63,685 - $66,401 per annum (Level CSW 1 Yr Qualified Year 1-3) (Junior rates may apply) + Superannuation
  • Location – Rockhampton

Your new role

 

Rockhampton City Child Care Centre is seeking positive and passionate individuals to provide flexible, high quality and responsive care for children at our centre.

You will be responsible for focusing on children’s developmental and routine needs while assisting the group leader to plan, implement and evaluate stimulating, safe and effective programs for children of all ages using the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.

This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).

Application Criteria

  • Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, Blue Card for Working with Children and Young People, Current First Aid & CPR certificate and proven experience working in a child care setting or similar.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and develop relationships with children, parents, colleagues and management.
  • Genuine passion for working with children and experience providing positive care and educational opportunities to children.
