CHPP Maintenance superintendent

Sedgman is in the process of recruiting a CHPP Maintenance superintendent to join our operations team in Queensland. This role will be based in the Bowen basin. 

Your ability to build relationships, manage administrative processes, and offer support across all site-related tasks will greatly benefit our team.

Duties:

• Develop the maintenance budget for approval by the CHPP and Operations Manager and control maintenance costs within the established budget guidelines,
• Demonstrate effective leadership, communication and liaison skills with all personnel to focus the teams activities and through continuous informal training foster a team environment to maintain a highly skilled team
• Maximise plant run hours by optimising maintenance windows
• Recommend and implement maintenance improvements that result in overall reduction of site costs or improvement of site revenue
• Support continuous operation of the fixed plant and mobile equipment through effective maintenance practices
• Support the Maintenance Coordinator(s) to resolve problems and recommend measures to ensure effective planning, resourcing and implementation are achieved to complete maintenance within the available windows 
• Manage maintenance activities and operation of the HV network including ensuring there are sufficient trained and authorised personnel for restoration and maintenance activities
• Work with the CHPP Superintendent to monitor and review CHPP delay analysis, ensuring all delays are understood and plans are in place to minimise
• Compile maintenance reports as required (daily, weekly, monthly)
