Position: CIT Guard / ATM Technician
Location: CFT Security Mackay QLD
Employment Type: Full-time / Part-time
Salary: TBD based on experience and performance with probationary period of 3 months.

Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented CIT Guard / ATM Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and replenishing ATMs and our clients while ensuring security and safety procedures are followed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload cash in ATMs securely

  • Perform routine ATM maintenance and basic repairs

  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues

  • Ensure accurate cash handling and record keeping

  • Follow all security, safety, and compliance procedures

  • Transport cash and equipment safely

  • Report faults, incidents, or discrepancies promptly

  • Perform CIT duties as required for our clients

 

Essential Requirements:

  • Current QLD Security Licence with CIT Function (mandatory)

  • Good English communication skills (spoken and written)

  • Strong local knowledge of Mackay and surrounding areas

  • Technical or mechanical knowledge (ATM or electronics experience is an advantage)

  • Strong attention to detail and responsibility

  • Ability to work independently and under pressure

  • Clean background check

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Must be available weekends/ public holidays on rotational roster.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a CIT Guard or ATM Technician or ability to be trained

  • Knowledge of ATM hardware and software

  • Security or cash-handling experience

  • Have ability to obtain Weapons License if currently not held

  • Have or be able to obtain Working with Children Blue card
