Our Mackay Clinic is currently seeking a proactive and customer-focused Clinic Administration Officer/Medical Screener to join our friendly team on a full time basis. Reporting to the Practice Manager, you'll play a vital role in supporting the smooth and efficient operation of the clinic.

About the Role

In this varied and rewarding role, you'll be the first point of contact for patients and play a key part in both administrative and clinical support tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional service.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Welcoming patients and managing front-desk reception duties
  • Booking and processing medical appointments
  • Handling medical results and documentation
  • Assisting patients with health questionnaires
  • Conducting preliminary health assessments
  • Collecting specimens, including Drug and Alcohol Testing supervision
  • Performing audiometry and spirometry tests
  • Managing invoices and administrative support tasks

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities
  • Great attention to detail and a commitment to quality care
  • Current CPR Certificate and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain - support available)
  • Previous experience in medical administration or a clinical setting is an advantage, but full training will be provided
