About the Role
We are seeking a Clinic Administration Officer/Medical Screener to join our Mackay Clinic on a full-time basis. Reporting directly to the Practice Manager, this role is an exciting mix of administration, customer service, and health screening - and you'll be the heart of ensuring our clinic runs smoothly.
In this role, you'll have the chance to manage a variety of tasks, helping our patients, supporting your team, and making an impact on the health and well-being of your community!
Your Responsibilities
You'll enjoy a range of rewarding duties that will keep your day varied and fulfilling, including:
- Reception & Administration: Be the first friendly face our clients see, managing bookings, inquiries, and general admin.
- Health Assessments: Administer health questionnaires, conduct preliminary medical assessments, and oversee specimen collection.
- Medical Screenings: Perform testing, including Audiometry, Spirometry, and Drug & Alcohol testing.
- Results Management: Support in processing and communicating medical results.
- Invoicing: Ensure smooth billing and accurate invoicing.
What We're Looking For
We're searching for someone who's organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about providing top-quality service to staff and clients. If you have a positive attitude and great interpersonal skills, you're exactly who we want! While previous clinical experience is a plus, training will be provided for the right candidate.
Requirements:
- Strong administration skills and an eye for detail
- Great customer service and people skills
- Willingness to get your CPR Certificate and Working with Children Check (we can help you get these)
- Experience in a medical or receptionist role is a bonus (but not required)
