Clinical Manager

We require an experienced Clinical Manager to manage the clinical care within this large aged care residence based in Rockhampton!

Representing a national aged care organisation, you will lead a strong clinical team. You will collaborate closely with the Facility Manager to ensure high standards of care, maintain clinical stability, and drive continuous improvement with a focus on achieving and maintaining full accreditation.
  • Salary of upto $130k + super + NFP 
  • Relocation assistance and inital accomodation available 
  • Medium sized facility 
  • Overseeing a strong team of Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and PCAs 
  • Working with a large NFP provider who provide wonderful career development opportunities 
  • Report to a Facility Manager who has 10+ years experience and is also clinical
The Role 
  • Provide leadership and direction to the clinical team
  • Oversee all clinical care delivery and ensure compliance with aged care standards
  • Monitor clinical governance, quality outcomes, and risk management
  • Support staff development, mentoring, and performance management
  • Work collaboratively with the Facility Manager to ensure operational and clinical excellence
  • Lead accreditation processes and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements: 
  • Demonstrated Care Manager experience and minimum 5 years in the aged care sector  
  • Valid AHPRA Registration (DIV 1)
  • Extensive clinical skills and knowledge.
  • Strong understanding of aged care legislation, accreditation standards, and funding instruments (e.g. AN-ACC).
  • Experience with accreditation and quality processes.
  • IPC Lead qualification is desirable but not essential
