BlueCare is excited with the expansion of its Nurse Led Clinics as part of their centralised Statewide Clinical team.  A dedicated specialised service offering the communities we serve complex nursing care within our clinic spaces and in our clients’ home.  The role will work alongside BlueCare’s Allied Health team, GPs and Hospitals in a multidisciplinary approach.

To support this growth, we are seeking highly skilled Clinical Nurses with a passion for improving client outcomes in the community to run their own Nurse Led Clinics.  These are permanent part time opportunities initially for 2 days a week, with the view to increasing up to full time where service delivery and demand align. But we would also be flexible to negotiate further on additional days with suitable candidates.

Our Nurse Led clinic team are autonomous practitioners that thrive on a busy environment engaging with their clients delivering excellence in care, whilst also developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to promote our services to the community. 

With our clients’ wellbeing always in mind, you will be the primary provider of specialist care in Lymphoedema and Lipidema with post graduate studies and at least 1 years’ experience in this field. 

  • Development, implementation, monitoring and review of care plans
  • Comprehensive and accurate assessment of clients
  • Support in ensuring the service meets all accreditation standards

You will be an experienced and highly motivated clinician with post graduate qualifications in a specialist area and be able to operate autonomously.  This is a relationship driven role, hence your well-developed communication and stakeholder management skills are key to the success of the role.  You’ll also present with:

  • Post graduate qualification in the relevant specialised nursing discipline.
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Extensive general nursing experience and demonstrated skills reflective of clinical speciality
  • Confidence to manage conflict, pressures and competing priorities
  • Experience working in a multidisciplinary team with ability to provide leadership, support and mentorship to other team members
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge in community funding is highly desirable
