Clinical Nurse - Mental Health

About the Role

Ramsay Clinic Rockhampton has a dedicated, multi-disciplinary patient care team to support our 20 bed Mental Health Ward.   We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse to coordinate our TMS (Transmagnetic Stimulation Therapy) Program.

The successful candidates will have the opportunity to further develop their leadership capability in an organisation committed to its people and the provision of high quality care and positive patient outcomes.

This position on offer is permanent part-time, 64hours/fortnight.

 

 

About You

The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:

  • A minimum 3 years inpatient experience in an acute mental health environment;
  • Experience with mental health risk assessment;
  • Strong leadership capability to foster engagement, mentor and support of our mental health team. 
  • Experience with coordination and delivery of mental health education;
  • The ability to mentor and upskill staff, including assessment and support for undergraduate students;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Post-graduate Mental Health Qualifications (desirable).

Requirements

  • Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
