WEEKDAY AFTER-HOURS SUPERVISOR

About the Role

Hillcrest Private Hospital has a vacancy for a Clinical Nurse to work in the role of After-hours Supervisor.  

You will be responsible for the efficient and effective management of all after-hours human and material resources.  The role requires working with and supporting other managers in achieving excellence in care delivery whilst ensuring maintenance of clinical standards and quality care. 

This role is PPT, with a minimum 64hrs per fortnight, working Mon – Thurs evenings.  The successful candidate will have the opportunity to further develop their leadership capability in an organisation committed to its people, to the provision of high quality care and positive patient outcomes.  

 

 

About You

You will have a minimum of four years working in an acute care setting and will take responsibility for guiding and directing other’s actions to achieve goals. 

You will maintain effective interpersonal relationships to work with others in a constructive and collaborative fashion and positively influence others by explaining information and ideas to solicit and engage staff in what needs to be done.

This role will suit a competent nurse with a passion for working with patients across Medical/Surgical Wards.  Advance Life Support is imperative as is the willingness to be trained as a Cognitive Impairment Assessor.

Requirements

  • Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
