We are currently recruiting for enthusiastic and experienced Commercial/Maintenance Electricians, to be based in Gladstone.

To be considered for the role you must have the following experience and requirements:

 

  • Customer service & communication skills
  • Experience in working independent to complete general maintenance in Commercial areas (Shops, Machine Shops, Hospitals, Councils, Coal Terminals, etc)
  • Fault finding experience is ideal
  • Assist other crew time to time with Government Housing maintenance (Light repairs, power points repairs, trip circuits, Stove repairs)
  • Experience and drive to carryout small quote works such as: Lighting upgrades, Power circuit installs, After hours Board shutdown works
  • Experience and drive to carryout Small/ Medium projects works such as: Cable tray runs in a commercial site, Board Upgrades, Shop fit outs, UPS Replacements, Coal Terminal small projects
  • Data experience Beneficial
  • Focus on the fine detail to provide premium service but maintain budget/customer requirements.
  • Able to complete installs with limited drawings or sketches
  • QLD Electrical License or can use the applicable Australian state licence in Qld
  • EWP Ticket
  • Working at Heights
  • Communication licence advantage but not required. Experience in installing/fitting off would also be advantage
  • Ability to pass a National Police Check
  • Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical
  • Participating in toolbox meetings and pre-start risk assessments
  • Following all OHS standards and procedures.
  • Supporting team members by assisting with any other relevant duties
