Commercial & Tendering Manager

Job Description

AGIS are looking for an experienced Commercial & Tendering Manager to assist in the successful delivery of our services across the region, working closely with the site-based staff and the operations management team based in the Mackay office.

AGIS (Ausgroup Industrial Services) offer a highly skilled & experienced workforce which consists of Scaffolders, Riggers, Industrial Painters, Abrasive Blasters, Boilermakers, Welders, Trade Assistants, Industrial Cleaners and Supervisors.

Role:

  • Estimation and Project coordination from enquiry through to job execution and completion.
  • Tender coordination, estimation, preparation and submission.
  • Assisting in the preparation, handover and monitoring of job packages.
  • Review projects and completion schedules and delegate tasks accordingly.
  • Collaborate with management and project execution teams to develop optimised solutions.
  • Developing existing and new customer relationships.
  • Provide technical support to teams as required.
  • Contribute to company growth and development to ensure the success of core company goals being met.

Essential Skills:

To be considered for these roles you will need to demonstrate the following:

  • Estimator &/or Coordinator experience (desirable).
  • Ability to develop and implement operational improvement strategies.
  • Ability to Interpret tender specifications and drawings (desirable).
  • Understanding of mining and construction industry. 
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated personnel/time management skills. 
  • Effective communications skills.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite, including SharePoint, Excel, Word.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise workload and work in a fast-paced role.
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.
