Job Description

EHW Technology, an IT specialist based in Mackay, is seeking a motivated technician to join our team. This full-time position is available for immediate start.

Responsibilities:

  • Installation, commissioning and ongoing service of data cabling.

  • Installation and termination of fiber.

  • Conduct system testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve technical issues.

  • Provide technical support to clients on communication-related issues.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and report to the Service Manager.

  • Great customer service and communication skills.

Requirements:

  • Appropriate qualifications and licensing (Open Registration Cabling license with endorsements and/or Trade Certificate).

  • Open Manual Driver's License.

  • Construction White Card.

  • The ability to work autonomously, and cohesively in a team environment.

  • Strong time management and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage job sites.

Experience:

While we prefer candidates with 3 years of experience in a similar role, individuals with less experience but a genuine passion for technology are encouraged to apply.
